Dr Juanita Smith

Juanita is a Clinical Psychologist with a PhD in Psychology from the University of Otago (2001). She is a member of the NZ College of Clinical Psychologists (NZCCP), the NZ Psychological Society, and the NZCCP Ethics Advisory Panel. Her approach is compassionate and evidence-based, and she is dedicated to helping clients on their unique healing journey. She is warm, non-judgmental and collaborative, and seeks to gain a thorough understanding of her client’s concerns and feelings before sharing her insight and strategies. Having worked in both public and private sectors, Juanita has expertise in clinical, forensic and leadership roles. She maintains continuing professional development and adheres to ethical guidelines and strict confidentiality. She is available for client consultations and clinical supervision of psychologists and other professionals on a regular or one-off consultancy basis.
