About
Kia ora!
I’m a Dunedin local, born and raised. After spending the last eight years in Christchurch completing my professional studies and beginning my career, my husband and I have recently returned home. We are currently soaking up the family lifestyle with our young son and our cat, Scallywag, rediscovering Dunedin’s incredible beaches and nature.
My clinical background is rooted in specialist mental health services, with a primary focus on children, adolescents, and young adults, although I have also worked in adult mental health services throughout my career. I am currently also working at the University of Otago in the Student Health Centre. My work across the lifespan has given me a broad expertise on a variety of presentations, but I hold a particular interest in:
- Anxiety, stress and OCD
- Low Mood
- Neurodevelopemtal assessments (ASD and ADHD)
- Cognitive and learning assessments
I draw on a range of evidence-based therapies tailored to each clients unique needs, and I am formally trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
In my work, I value authenticity, integrity, and taking a collaborative approach to care.
