About
I am a Registered Clinical Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists Board and a member of the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists. My practice is grounded in compassion, respect and genuine curiosity. I work alongside clients to understand their unique paradigm: how they make sense of their past, how they experience the present, and what they hope for in the future. I am committed to evidence based psychological practice, with my main therapeutic modalities being Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focussed Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation Therapy (EMDR). I have experience working in private and public healthcare and criminal justice settings. I have experience in undertaking comprehensive clinical assessments and providing therapy on both an individual and group basis. Alongside private work, I continue to work part time in public healthcare and providing supervision for practitioners working for the Department of Corrections.
