About
I am a fully registered Clinical Psychologist in New Zealand with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I started working at Kapiti Youth Support in 2017, until I moved to London, where I practiced as a locum Clinical Psychologist. I have experience working in clinics, schools, hospitals, government agencies, forensic settings and psychiatric intensive care units. I began private practice work in 2020. I also contracted to Condor Performance, which provided me the opportunity to work alongside athletes, and a regular teaching role with the New Zealand School of Dance.
I value helping others and this is what motivated me to become a clinical psychologist. I am grateful for the opportunity to meet people and hear their stories. I believe that it is a privilege to walk alongside individuals on their journey of psychological wellness. I emphasise a warm and client-centred therapeutic style, which will be individually tailored to meet your needs and goals.
I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults. My therapeutic style will meet the stage of life you are currently in. I use an integrative approach in my work and have training and experience in a number of different therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
My personal interests include spending time in the outdoors with my family, practicing mindfulness, travel, exercise, and my black dog Daisy.
