Christian Ruzibiza

I am a Clinical Psychologist with experience working across a wide range of services, including the Department of Corrections, Intellectual Disability services, ACC Sensitive Claims and Psychological Services, and Adult Community Mental Health. I currently focus on assessment work with adults, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disability, trauma- and stressor-related issues, and offending risk assessments. My approach has been described as gentle, warm, and person-centered. I value creating a supportive environment where people feel comfortable exploring their experiences. I particularly enjoy helping clients gain insight into their difficulties and supporting them to make sense of their challenges in a way that feels empowering and meaningful. In my previous clinical work, I drew on therapies such as ACT, CBT, and Cognitive Processing Therapy, and I continue to hold a strong interest in approaches that support people to take steps toward the life they want to live. Currently I am open to referrals for assessments only.
