Dr Maia Eremin

Maia holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Auckland. She is skilled in psychological assessment and treatment of adults, older adults, and couples presenting with a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, work-related stress, adjustment to stressful life events, relationship problems, grief and bereavement etc. Maia has over fifteen years of experience working in public sector as well as in private practice in Auckland. In her practice as clinical psychologist, Maia draws on Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Cognitive Analytic (CAT), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Schema Therapy, Emotionally Focussed Therapy (EFT), and Developmental Model Couple Therapy treatment approaches assisting individual clients and couples to achieve positive change.
