I have long been interested in understanding distress in context. This means asking what has happened, and what is happening now, that influences this person's struggles.
Currently I work in private practice at Te Aro Psychology, supporting parents, resolving the impacts of trauma, providing supervision, training clinicians in ACT and critiquing the medical model applied to human distress. I am part of Excellence in Mind.
Previously I worked in CAMHS, in NGOs, and at Victoria University training clinical psychologists.
