Kia Ora! I'm a Clinical Psychologist with 15 years experience working with adults and adolescents with a range of issues including mood and emotional functioning, difficult and harmful behaviour, and issues related to sex and sexuality. My current focus is assessment and I am not taking new therapy clients. I complete assessments for the Courts and Parole Board regarding sentencing reductions, risk, rehabilitation and specialist considerations such as Extended Supervision, Public Protection Orders, and Preventive Detention. I regularly appear as an expert witness regarding these matters in District and High Courts, and have completed specialist reports to the Lawyers and Conveyancers Tribunal, the Court of Appeal and other forensic settings. I also have experience assessing and treating clients with head injury, issues with cognitive functioning, and complex behavioural issues, as well as screening for neuropsychological issues and psychiatric issues and considering the implications of these for legal contexts.
