I am registered clinical psychologist passionate about communicating psychological science in an accessible way to support people to thrive. I am mental health and wellbeing thought leader regularly contributing to media and am a sought after keynote speaker. I have been the resident psychologist on TV1’s Breakfast since 2017 and am often called upon by One News and Seven Sharp. In the past 18 months I have routinely written for the New Zealand Herald and Stuff My background is in corporate wellbeing. My last formal position saw me leading a team of clinical psychologists who provided mental health and wellbeing support to organisations nationwide. This role involved frequent consolation with ELTs and Boards designing tailored wellbeing programmes and facilitation. I proudly supported the organisation’s rapid growth and was a key contributor in the company’s acquisition in June 2019. In August 2019 I had my first baby and decided to step back from full time work. Outside of psychology I recently became a marriage celebrant. I feel great joy being able to use my communication rapport and writing skills to support people on their special day.
