Dr Jessica McIvor

Over ten years of post-doctoral experience focused on understanding attachments, complex trauma, and structural dissociation. Dr McIvor uses a trauma-informed framework and can work transdiagnostically with people. Alongside private practice, she is a Senior Lecturer for Massey University with a key focus on teaching into the clinical psychology programme. EMDR Consultant in Training with advanced training in attachment-informed EMDR. Supervisor Mark Brayne (United Kingdom). New Zealand based supervisor Astrid Katzur. Previously trained by Sigmund Burzynski, Dolores Mosquera, and Roger Solomon. EMDR trained to see children (Trained by Arianne Struik and Carlijn de Roos).
