Hi, I’m Kerry. I’m a clinical psychologist based in Lower Hutt. I grew up and was trained in the United States. My fancy professional bio is on my website but practically, I’m a warm, compassionate person who thinks
(1) hard work is fun,
(2) laughing and crying are both useful, and
(3) our therapy/supervision/mentoring will include all of it: hard work, laughing, and crying.
I know a lot about a few things: psychology, trauma, resilience, burnout, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), EMDR, and intentional living.
More importantly, I’m on a journey just like you. I have struggled in my life, my marriage, my parenting, and in my job. I have yearned to know more, feel better, and show up steadier for the challenges of life.
