I am a Clinical Psychologist with a PhD in Psychology working at Waikato Hospital and in private practice in Hamilton. I am a member of the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists and the College of Clinical Psychology of the Australian Psychological Society with over 25 years of experience. As a clinician I have been supporting people to better cope & overcome their difficulties fulfil their potentials & vocation and develop & cultivate a meaningful life. I am experienced in delivering psychological services for adults with identity problems mood & anxiety issues trauma loss/grief & bereavement poor anger/emotion regulation interpersonal issues adjustment difficulties psychosis autism and family & couple problems. I was originally trained in the Jungian psychodynamic model of psychotherapy which has been my main theoretical reference used within an integrative approach informed by other evidence-based models such as EMDR DBT Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and CBT. My psychological assessment is comprehensive and grounded in a multimethod approach with clinical interview and psychometric testing which may include self-report questionnaires and projective testing such as the Rorschach Inkblot test (R-PAS system).
