Dr Mary Grogan works with adults experiencing anxiety depression stress and eating issues as well as enhancing wellbeing. Mary has a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Auckland. She has worked for the last 18 years in the public and private sectors of mental health as a clinical psychologist working with individuals and running groups. Mary wrote feature psychology articles for MiNDFOOD magazine from 2010-2016. Mary has acted as a consultant clinical psychologist for the HPA (Health Promotion Agency) for projects such as The Lowdown and the National Depression Initiative (NDI) depression website. Mary has trained in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) mindfulness-based cognitive therapy for depression (MBCT) dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and the Bader-Pearson developmental model of couple therapy. Mary is a member of the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists and a founding member of the International Positive Psychology Association.
