About
I have been working for the last 20 years to help others create their best life in all sorts of different ways. I am originally from New Jersey in the USA. I sailed to Aotearoa (New Zealand) from the US Virgin Islands in 1999 - and I have been living here ever since. My journey to becoming a clinical psychologist has not been a straight line. I have been a sailor, a musician, a chef, a roller derby player and ref, a music therapist, a cold ocean plunger, a parent, an artist, and a member of the rainbow community. I know what it's like to want to live life fully and to need some support along the way.
My focus is to help you discover and then move towards your goals, values, and a life that feels meaningful to you. I provide a safe, inclusive space for you to figure things out. I will listen and work with you to understand how patterns of coping, thinking, and behaving (that might have been helpful in the past) are making life feel difficult for you today.
