About

Growing up and training as a clinical psychologist in the Manawatu, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals, from children and teenagers to adults. My clinical practice is grounded in a commitment to evidence-based approaches, and I've received extensive training in several therapeutic modalities. I'm skilled in delivering treatments such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which help people understand and change their thoughts and behaviours. I also have specialist expertise in therapies for more specific concerns. I'm trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process difficult experiences and trauma. Additionally, I utilise Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for those struggling with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, and Habit Reversal Training (HRT) to address tic disorders and body-focused repetitive behaviours. My passion lies in helping people build practical skills and strategies to navigate life's challenges and foster lasting well-being.
