About
I offer specialist eating disorder treatment for older teens and adults who have a challenging relationship with food, eating, body image, and/or exercise. My strong passion in this area has been informed by my doctorate “Exploring the Narratives of People with Lived Experiences of Eating-Related Distress and their Stories of Recovery”.
My focus in therapy is to provide a safe and compassionate space for clients to better understand themselves and their distress. I support you to develop a peaceful relationship with food and your body, teaching tools and strategies to manage emotions, enhance self-esteem, and live a value aligning life. I apply a holistic strengths-based approach that aims to maximise well-being and personal recovery goals. I truly believe recovery is possible and am here to hold hope even amidst the challenges along the journey.
My therapeutic approach is underpinned by evidence-based practice that is tailored to you. Supporting people at an early point of intervention is central to both my vision and values. I am passionate about reducing the stigma and stereotyping with eating disorders, improving access to care across all bodies, and instilling hope and motivation towards recovery.
I work across various sectors, co-creator of the Eating Disorder Psychology Collective - I offer specialist eating disorder support. I also contract to Resilience Psychology for general mental health enquiries, and Mind Matters for ADHD assessments.
