Nicola Brown is a clinical psychologist, stand-up comedian, executive coach, writer, speaker, and MC. Having trained in multiple models of therapy, she works with clients in eclectic ways. Initial sessions are used to clarify what has brought someone to see her and help each person identify their goals for sessions. Therapy involves using whichever modalities she and the client agree will be most useful to help them achieve what they hope to from clinical psychology and/or coaching.
Nicola's particular areas of specialty are fertility and infertility, perimenopause and menopause, anxiety, workplace stress and burnout, physical health issues and life transitions. She welcomes clients from the LGBTQI+ community.
Nicola works both in person in Ōtepoti Dunedin, and online. She lives with her wife and son, an opinionated miniature schnauzer, and however many rodents the cat brings in on any given day. It is widely agreed that she has far too many plants.
