Bio:	Hello, my name is Rochelle Connell and I am a Clinical Psychologist working in the Wairarapa. Since graduating I have predominantly worked in the Child and Adolescent sector. More recently, however, I have been working in elderly mental health and as an ACC Sensitive Claims provider. I work with my clients in a collaborative way to best address their needs and achieve their therapeutic goals. I use evidenced-based treatments and psychometric tools in my client work. My treatment sessions involve learning strategies and skills for managing the unhelpful thoughts and emotions that commonly underlie psychological distress. In the case of parent sessions, the skills and strategies taught focus on supporting your child using brain based and behavioural approaches and emotional regulation coaching.
